On November 28–29, Centrum výzkumu Řež hosted the CORE 2024 international conference, continuing the tradition of the SUSEN conference series. This year’s event focused on the safe processing, optimization, and storage of radioactive and hazardous waste—an important topic not only for nuclear energy experts but also for industrial and environmental sectors.
The conference provided a platform for discussions among domestic and international experts, who shared their experiences and innovative approaches. Special attention was given to the outcomes of projects utilizing the open-access infrastructure of CICRR, a resource used by both internal and external users.
