Recently, we hosted partners from the Japanese JCAMP consortium in Řež to discuss concrete degradation caused by ionizing radiation. Concrete structures play a crucial role in nuclear facilities, so our focus is on enhancing their resilience and long-term stability.
The meeting provided valuable insights thanks to an exchange of experience with our Japanese colleagues. We explored degradation processes, tested new approaches to extending service life, and discussed practical applications of our findings.
This collaboration continues, and we look forward to the next steps in our research, contributing to improved safety in nuclear infrastructure.
