Central European Energy Institute

Energy is one of the state strategic sectors and that is why attention must be paid to the preparation of experts in this field. Due to the general insufficiency of technical branches of study graduates, the technical universities agreed to establish a Central European Energy Centre, which will provide modern and quality multibranch education for top energy experts.

Within the project framework common study programs on the Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD levels in the Czech and English versions will be innovated, accredited and verified as pilot scheme; they will focus on advanced technologies, wider multibranch basis and also development of soft skills necessary for management of energy complexes and branches. One of the most important parts will be a PhD program for future researchers and senior staff for safety and licencing in the energy sector.

The project co-ordinator is ČVUT in Prague, further partners are VUT in Brno and VŠB-TU Ostrava.
